30-Day Brand Bootcamp: A Creator's Guide to Building Brand Value

By The Locrian Team

Build a Stronger Brand in 30 Days

This is a week-by-week action plan designed to systematically improve your brand across the nine Locrian Score dimensions. Each week focuses on a different area, with specific tasks you can complete in a few hours per day.

Start by getting your Locrian Score so you have a baseline. You'll score again at the end to measure progress.

Week 1: Audit and Foundation (Digital Presence + IP Strength)

Your first week is about understanding where you stand and securing your digital territory.

Day 1-2: Brand audit

Day 3-4: Secure your digital territory

  • Register your .com domain if you don't have it
  • Claim consistent handles on all major platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn, Spotify) — see our handle guide
  • Set up professional email (you@yourbrand.com)
  • Update every social profile with consistent bio and branding

Day 5-7: Website basics

  • If no website: set up a simple one-page site (Carrd, Squarespace, or similar) with your bio, links, and contact info
  • If you have a website: audit it for completeness — does it have your bio, portfolio, contact info, and press/media page?
  • Add links between your website and all social profiles

Target dimensions: Digital Presence, IP Strength

Week 2: IP and Content (IP Portfolio + Content Value)

Week two builds your intellectual property foundation and content strategy.

Day 8-9: Copyright registration

  • Identify your 3-5 most valuable pieces of content (songs, videos, courses, articles)
  • Register at least one with the U.S. Copyright Office ($65)
  • Research trademark filing if your name search came back clear ($350 per class at USPTO)

Day 10-11: Content audit and planning

  • Count your published content across all platforms
  • Identify your highest-performing content — what format, topic, and style works best?
  • Create a 30-day content calendar with at least 3 posts per week

Day 12-14: Content creation sprint

  • Create and schedule content for the next two weeks
  • Repurpose your best existing content for platforms you've been neglecting
  • A YouTube video becomes TikTok clips, Instagram Reels, and Twitter threads

Target dimensions: IP Portfolio, Content Value

Week 3: Audience and Revenue (Audience Metrics + Revenue Signals)

Week three focuses on strengthening your audience engagement and revenue infrastructure.

Day 15-17: Engagement sprint

  • Spend 30 minutes per day genuinely engaging with your community
  • Reply to every comment on your posts for the full week
  • Engage with 10 peers in your niche daily — collaboration breeds growth
  • Post at your optimal times (check platform analytics)

Day 18-19: Revenue infrastructure

  • If you don't sell anything: launch one product (merch, digital download, Patreon, or paid community)
  • If you sell: audit your link-in-bio, e-commerce presence, and product listings for completeness
  • Add monetization links to your social bios and website

Day 20-21: Platform diversification

  • Identify your weakest platform and commit to consistent posting there
  • Set up a monetization path on at least one additional platform
  • Cross-promote between platforms to migrate audience

Target dimensions: Audience Metrics, Revenue Signals

Week 4: Professional Readiness (Partnership Readiness + Operational Sustainability)

The final week professionalizes your brand for partnerships and long-term growth.

Day 22-23: Media kit and professional setup

  • Create a media kit (Canva has free templates) with: bio, audience demographics, engagement rates, past collaborations, rates, and contact info
  • Add a press or media page to your website
  • Prepare a rate card for brand partnerships

Day 24-25: Business formation and structure

  • If no business entity: research LLC formation in your state (many offer online filing for under $100)
  • If you have an entity: ensure it's visible — website footer, media kit, LinkedIn
  • Set up professional invoicing (Wave, Stripe, or similar)

Day 26-28: Brand safety audit

  • Google "[your brand] + controversy" and address anything concerning
  • Review your last 90 days of content through a sponsor's eyes
  • Archive or clean up old content that doesn't align with your current brand
  • Read what sponsors google before saying yes

Day 29-30: Measure progress

  • Get your Locrian Score again
  • Compare with your Day 1 baseline
  • Identify which dimensions improved most
  • Plan your next 30 days based on remaining gaps

Target dimensions: Partnership Readiness, Operational Sustainability

What to Expect After 30 Days

If you complete this bootcamp seriously, you should see meaningful improvement in Digital Presence and Partnership Readiness (the two dimensions most responsive to infrastructure changes). Content Value and Audience Metrics will begin improving but take longer to compound. IP strength depends on whether you filed a trademark application.

The key insight: your weakest dimensions have the most room to grow. Improving a weak dimension by 20 points has a bigger impact on your overall score than improving a strong one by the same amount.
