About Locrian

Brand intelligence built on a decade of watching deals get made — and fall apart.

The Company

Locrian measures what matters when money is on the table.

Sponsors evaluate creators before writing checks. Labels assess artists before signing deals. Investors analyze brands before making offers. They all look at the same things — trademark strength, audience quality, content depth, revenue diversity, operational readiness.

Until now, there was no standardized way to measure any of it. Creators negotiated blind. Partners relied on gut feel. Deals got done on incomplete information, and both sides left value on the table.

Locrian changes that. We score brands across nine dimensions — the same dimensions that determine whether a partnership gets approved, a sponsorship gets funded, or an acquisition offer gets made. One number. Full transparency. Data that holds up in the room.

Robert Thony

Founder & CEO

Robert Thony spent over a decade as an entertainment and intellectual property attorney negotiating on behalf of artists, creators, and brands. He saw the same pattern repeatedly: talented people with valuable brands who had no way to quantify what they’d built — and no leverage when it came time to negotiate.

The creators who succeeded weren’t always the most talented. They were the ones who understood their brand as a business asset — who knew their trademark position, their audience value, their content depth, and their operational readiness. They walked into rooms with data, not just passion.

Locrian was built to give every creator that advantage.

Robert holds a Juris Doctor and is admitted to the New York State Bar. He is the founder of Locrian, Inc. (Delaware) and maintains a separate legal practice through Thony Law PLLC.

The Methodology

The Locrian Score isn’t a social media metric or a vanity number. It’s grounded in established frameworks that the business world already trusts:

ISO 10668International standard for brand valuation
ISO 20671Non-monetary brand strength measurement
Keller CBBE ModelCustomer-based brand equity
Lanham Act / DuPont FactorsThe legal standard for trademark analysis

We validate our scoring against real trademark case outcomes and continuously calibrate against industry benchmarks. The methodology is patent-pending (U.S. Provisional Patent Application No. 63/884,471).
